Recently, China Association of Construction Enterprise Management announced the results of the 6th Engineering Construction Industry BIM Competition. China MCC achieved excellent results in this competition, including 4 special awards, 9 first prizes, 23 second prizes, and 42 third prizes, setting a new record in quantity and quality of the awards. It ranked among the top central enterprises in the construction sector, indicating that the high-quality development, promotion and application of China MCC's BIM technology have stepped onto a new level.
Among them, 4 achievements won the special awards, including Shanghai Baoye's "BIM-based Intelligent Construction and Application of the World's Largest Earthing Building Complex Project" and "Comprehensive Application of BIM Technology in Section 3 of LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort Project"; MCC Huatian's "Comprehensive Application of BIM Technology in the Feeding, Ore-Coke Bunker and Charging System Project of Fangchenggang Steel (Phase I) No.3 Blast Furnace"; and China MCC5's 'Zinc' Journey, 'Cloud' Intelligent Construction-BIM Technology Leading the 600,000 Tons/Year Lead-Zinc Smelting Project (Section I) of Xinjiang Huoshaoyun Lead-Zinc Mine".
A total of 9 achievements won the first prizes, including 3 achievements such as "Intelligence Enabling· Medical Inheritance-Innovative Application of BIM-based Intelligent Construction System of Sichuan University West China Gaoxin Hospital"; 2 achievements such as Brilliance in Xiangjiang · Intelligent Construction for the Future-Innovative Application of Super High-Rise Digital and Intelligent Construction for Changsha Minmetals Plaza Project of Shanghai Baoye; MCC CISDI's "Comprehensive Application of Whole-Process Intelligent Construction in Tuanjiehu Digital Economy Industrial Park EPC Project"; MCC Huatian's "Comprehensive Application of Whole-Life-Cycle BIM Technology in the Coal Injection Project of Fangchenggang Steel (Phase I) No.3 Blast Furnace System"; China MCC22 Group's "Construction Intelligent Control of Digital Furnace-Application of BIM Technology in the Construction Stage of Hongrong Steel Steelmaking Project" by China MCC22 Group; and MCC Steel Structure's "Whole-Life-Cycle Intelligent Construction Innovation Practice in Section II of Home Center Project of Beijing Sub-Center Housing Project (Block 0701)".
Achievements completed by units including CERI, WISDRI, MCC Huatian, MCC Changtian, China First Metallurgical Group, China MCC5, MCC Tiangong, China MCC17, MCC Construction Engineering, China MCC20, China MCC22 Group, Shanghai Baoye, China Huaye, and MCC Steel Structure won the second prizes and third prizes in this competition respectively.
