In order to implement the requirements of China MCC Work Conference, further summarize experiences, analyze problems, plan the overall layout, and promote the high-quality development of overseas business, China MCC convened the 10th Overseas Business Work Conference in Beijing on March 27. Chen Jianguang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group, and Chairman of both MCC Group and China MCC, attended the conference and delivered a speech; Bai Xiaohu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China MCC, presided over the conference and delivered a concluding speech; Zhu Guangxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China MCC, made an overseas business work report.

Chen Jianguang delivered a speech themed by Adhering to a Problem-solving Approach, Being Practical and Doing Solid Work, Striving to Create a New Chapter of High-Quality Development for China MCC’s Overseas Business. He fully affirmed the achievements in last two year’s efforts on overseas business, conducted an in-depth analysis on the current disparities and deficiencies to subsidiaries, and put forward six "Further" requirements: First, further enhance political awareness, prioritizing the accelerated development of overseas business; Second, further strengthen institutional development, establishing and improving the "four key elements" of the overseas business management system; Third, further intensity team building, cultivating a high-caliber, internationalized professional cadre and talent team; Fourth, further optimize market positioning, strengthening, expanding and solidifying the role of general representative; Fifth, further deepen localized operation through sustained and long-term efforts; Sixth, further utilize the "Five Linkages" to create integrated competitive advantages of the whole industrial chain in overseas markets. 

Bai Xiaohu delivered a concluding speech and put forward three key directives for advancing overseas business: First, quickly convey and study the spirit of this conference to build consensus on the "Global Expansion" development; Second, aim at the goals and solidify responsibilities, focus on key initiatives and ensure rigorous implementation; Third, establish a robust multi-dimensional risk prevention system to uphold safety and compliance lines. In the overseas business, it should focus on technology leadership and quality performance to enhance value services and improve performance capabilities. 

Zhu Guangxia made an overseas business work report, comprehensively summarizing the work since the 9th Overseas Business Work Conference, conducting an in-depth analysis on the existing problems and deficiencies, and outlining a seven-pillar strategy for overseas operations over the next two years, including "Top-level Design, Marketing, Core Business Entity, Contract Performance Management, Overseas Mining Operation, Team Building, Compliance Operation". 

At the conference, the Corporate Management Department (International) of China Minmetals shared insights on overseas mining industry, and the overseas advanced collective and individual representatives, as well as some subsidiaries, delivered exchange speeches. At the conference, it also presented on-site commendations to the overseas advanced collectives and individuals of 2024. 

Over 140 participants attended the conference, including key principals of relevant department of MCC Headquarters and subsidiaries, members of overseas business leadership teams, overseas business heads, and awarded representatives, etc.
