On March 5, Chen Jianguang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group, and Chairman of both MCC Group and China MCC, visited MCC Tiangong Lingang Grain Storage Project for on-site inspection, and showed appreciation to frontline staff.
Chen Jianguang conducted an in-depth inspection on the project site, thoroughly assessing progress, quality control, safety production, civilized construction, and labor management, and engaging in frequent discussions with project leaders and on-site personnel. He fully affirmed the exemplary practices and provided actionable recommendations to address identified gaps. Then, he organized and held an on-site symposium, listening to the special report on the project construction, and putting forward clear requirements for the following project management.
Chen Jianguang emphasized that: First, strengthen quality control to ensure premium contractual delivery. We must fully recognize the project significance in safeguarding national food security, continuously strengthening the awareness of quality management, advancing lean construction level, ensuring resource prioritization, comprehensively strengthening project quality control, delivering historic benchmark projects, and achieving "On-site Circular Market". Second, fortify safety protocols to prevent and mitigate risks. We must steadfastly uphold the principle of "Two Supremes", rigorously ensuring work safety during the National "Two Sessions", establishing a robust safety responsibility system, refining work safety and civilized construction management rules, implementing solid inspections and rectifications of potential safety hazards, defending safety baselines with multi-dimensional strategies, and driving sustainable safety performance. Third, optimize project efficiency to build a premium brand. We must intensify the accounting management consciousness, continuously enhancing the project management precision and cost control capabilities to drive profitability through managerial excellence; prioritize talent development, actively cultivating core operational talents, thereby supporting the project team’s strategic scaling through high-quality development; leverage robust contractual execution capabilities to deliver exemplary projects, forge a premium brand, and constantly enhance the popularity and influence of the enterprise. Fourth, enhance party leadership to promote a clean and honest Party culture. We must consolidate the grassroots Party building, constantly deepening the action of "Let the Party Flag Fly High and the Party Emblem Shine Bright", strictly implementing the system of "Three Meetings and One Lesson", focusing on building a project Party branch for "Five Targets", and promoting the in-depth integration of Party building with production and operation. We must thoroughly promote a clean and honest Party culture and a fight against corruption, grasping the dialectical relationship between "closeness" and "clarity", firmly grasping the key links such as material supply and labor subcontracting, continuously enhancing the awareness of discipline and rules among project personnel, and firmly holding the bottom lines of politics, profession and integrity.
