On November 21 to 22, the Second Exchange Conference on Project Management Achievements in Engineering Construction Industry was held in Changsha. Bai Xiaohu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of MCC Group and China MCC, was invited to attend its opening ceremony.
The conference was hosted by the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management. It aimed to summarize and promote advanced experience in construction project management, lead enterprises to continuously promote innovation in project management and enhance their core competitiveness. More than 1,000 experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from over 700 enterprises in the engineering construction attended the conference on site. At the conference, it launched the achievements of construction project management in 2024 and carried out exchanges around four sub-forums: project management innovation, application of project technologies, project performance management, and project construction methods. After the conference, the participating representatives visited the sites of five projects.
73 projects from 19 subsidiaries of China MCC won the project management achievements, accounting for 17.2% of the total number of achievements. Among them, there were 16 first-class achievements, accounting for 14.8%, and 57 second-class achievements, accounting for 20%. Three project management achievements were exchanged on the conference scene, namely, Perfectly Fulfilling Contracts and Setting a New Industry Speed from China MCC5, Building the Corporate Brand through High-quality Contract Fulfillment and Painting the Beauty beside the Luan River from China MCC22 Group and Digital Construction Assisting the Winter Olympics, Silver Dragon Soaring around the Green Mountains from Shanghai Baoye. On-site visit was offered to Changsha Minmetals Plaza Project of Shanghai Baoye as the only super high-rise project. In this activity, it fully exhibited the comprehensive construction capabilities and project management level of China MCC in contract fulfillment management, technological innovation, as well as safety and quality, effectively boosting the enhancement of the corporate brand image and industry influence.
