Chen Jianguang Goes to Singapore to Carry out Business Activities

  From February 19 to 22, Chen Jianguang, Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Leadership Group of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC, and Chairman of MCC and China MCC, went to Singapore to carry out business activities.

  Chen Jianguang visited Mr. Tan Hee Teck, President of Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. He said that MCC and Resorts World Sentosa have a long history of cooperation and profound friendship. The first phase of the Universal Studios Singapore project has laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties and accumulated valuable construction experience. He hoped that the two parties could further expand the scope of cooperation and participate in the construction of more representative projects in the future. Tan Hee Teck said that MCC is an important strategic partner, and he hoped that the two parties could join forces and strengthen their cooperation to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results, and common development.

  Chen Jianguang visited Mr. Mike Barclay, CEO of Mandai Wildlife Group. He expressed that MCC is grateful for the trust and support of Mandai Wildlife Group and will concentrate its superior resources, meticulously sum up construction experiences, ensure the high-quality delivery of landmark projects such as the Mandai Rainforest Park, and is willing to deepen its cooperation with Mandai Wildlife Group in the investment, design, construction, and operation of other eco-theme parks. Mr. Mike fully affirmed the professional capabilities of MCC, highly praised its confidence and determination to make concerted efforts at home and abroad, give full play to its resource synergy advantages, and achieve win-win development. He hoped that the two parties could join forces and strengthen their cooperation to achieve common development.

   Chen Jianguang visited Chua Chong Kheng, Deputy Director of the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore. He introduced the development of MCC in Singapore and expressed his gratitude to the Land Transport Authority for its trust in handing over important transportation projects such as the Changi Depot and MRT Control Center of the Pan Island Line. MCC will attach great importance to them, with high standards and strict requirements, make efforts to meet the requirements of the Land Transport Authority on project safety, quality, progress, and other aspects, and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery of the projects. Chua Chong Kheng, Deputy Director, gave feedback on the progress of the project construction, fully affirmed MCC's spirit of responsibility, and hoped that the two parties could continue to deepen cooperation, expand cooperation areas, and build more representative projects.

  During this period, Chen Jianguang visited the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Singapore and exchanged views with Zhu Jing, Charge d'Affaires, and Zong Changqing, Minister Counselor. He expressed gratitude to the Embassy for its continuous support to MCC and said that they would continue to develop the Singaporean market and strive to achieve mutually beneficial cooperation of higher level and quality between the two parties. The Embassy fully affirmed the achievements made by MCC in Singapore and said that it would continue to give strong support to MCC and provide service guarantees for its local development.

  Chen Jianguang also went to the Singapore Branch of CRIBC for investigation and guidance, visited Verena Lim, Asia CEO of Macquarie Group and others, led a team to conduct inspections on related projects, and kindly extended greetings to the staff at the project site.

  Zhu Jianguo, Xu Yongjie, and other heads of relevant functional departments of MCC headquarters and CRIBC participated in related activities.
