Bai Xiaohu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of MCC and China MCC and Vice President of China MCC, put forward rectification requirements for the safety and environmental protection issues raised by the central inspection from four aspects: deepening ideological understanding, strengthening the main responsibility, grasping key issues, and establishing a long-term mechanism. He also proposed work requirements for the full implementation of the three-year action plan for tackling root causes in work safety. Regarding flood prevention work, he made an overall deployment from three aspects: raising the level of awareness, improving the flood prevention mechanism, and making sufficient preparations for flood prevention. He demanded that the "three-truth" spirit of "seriousness, insistence, and practice" should be carried out throughout, and that the ability to prevent and control safety risks should be effectively enhanced. Wang Zirui, Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Safety Officer of MCC, presided over the meeting.

       The meeting was held via "live + video". A total of 13,973 people attended the meeting, including heads of relevant departments of MCC, principals of subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and various ongoing projects (production plants), leaders in charge of safety and environmental protection, and related personnel.
